We have finished our octopus art, and it looks awesome!  We are very proud of our art.  It is up on the wall in our classroom, so come and check it out sometime.

Art with Miss Simpson

We have started a cool piece of art with Miss Simpson - OCTOPUS ART!  We're learning all about the animals in the sea in science, so we thought this art would be perfect!  First we had to paint our 'sea' with blue which is a cold colour.  Next we had to paint another piece of paper with hot colours like red, yellow and orange.  We will use this to make our octopus.  We also practiced drawing an octopus, and this was really hard!  We knew that an octopus has eight legs, but have no idea what they eat or what colour they really are!  Hopefully we'll be able to find this out soon.  We can't wait to show you our art when it's finished.
